2007/ 2008 - Musician in Residence
In 2007 and 2008, Collin Beggan and Frank Molloy undertook a residency in the Arigna region, writing new material based on the mining tradition of the area. In the course of the project Colin and Frank worked with community and school groups as well as retired miners and miners wives and families. Over the course of the residency they wrote 10 songs based on the research which we were release on CD entitled Scars on the Mountain in 2010.
 
2005 / 2006 - Architect in Residence
During 2005 and 2006, Dominic Stevens was Roscommon County Council's architect in residence during which he delievered three projects.
1. Devised and delievered a series of public workshops raising awareness and promoting good practice in architecture.
2. Devised a masterplan for the development of Phase II of Roscommon Arts Centre.
3. Devised and developed the Building Communities programme - a partnership project of the housing and arts departments supported by Mid-South Roscommon Rural Development Company whereby individuals currently on Roscommon County Council's housing list are invited to design and build their own houses in a communal self-build project using the techniques developed by Romanian architect Walter Segal.
